Working Principle
The Plate Heat Exchanger operates by allowing two separate fluids to flow through alternating channels between the plates. The hot fluid transfers heat to the cold fluid through the thin metal plates, without any direct contact between the two liquids. The high turbulence created by the corrugated plates enhances heat transfer efficiency while minimizing fouling and scaling.
Heat Transfer Process:
1. Hot and cold fluids enter through separate inlet ports.
2. Fluids flow through alternating narrow channels between the plates.
3. Heat is transferred through the metal plates from the hot fluid to the cold fluid.
4. Fluids exit through separate outlet ports, maintaining efficient thermal separation.
